Holidaymakers in and around South Woodham Ferrers have received a boost as a new personal travel advisor has moved to the area.

Sharon Marshall, who has 17 years experience in the travel industry, has established a new business working from home as part of The Co-operative Personal Travel Advisors, and is busy selling holidays worldwide.

Sharon, who lives with husband Lee and daughters Sienna and Beau, said: "I've worked in high street travel branches for 14 years, but took a career break when I had the children.  Now that the kids are a little older I thought the time was right to start selling holidays again.

"As well as allowing me the freedom to work around my family, homeworking also ensures that I can be completely independent - which means that I can offer holidaymakers the widest possible choice of tour operators and destinations.

I am involved with all aspects of travel such as cruises, hotel and flight bookings plus much more. I can arrange theatre breaks, country cottages or ski breaks and cater for leisure and business, whether it's in the UK or abroad.

Many of my customers are referrals and I consider this a great compliment to the service I provide."
